In winter we tend to decrease fluid consumption due to several reasons. Firstly we don’t eat enough fruits and vegetables replacing it with carbs and meat. Secondly, water seems too cold so we prefer to have a cup of tea or coffee instead. Both are fluids however both have slightly dehydrating properties. Finally, smoothies and juices are left in summer. Moreover in winter time we tend to drink more alcoholic beverages yet you probably remember from the last post that alcohol can be compared to the tight underwear. Ironically in winter we dramatically need to keep our body well hydrated because heating makes air dry, cold weather dries our skin, we also loose liquids when sweating wearing the coat which is too warm.
Fluids are not the base of nutrition, it is an absolutely essential part of it weight loss pills. We can survive without food longer than without fluids. I believe that water is an «underwear» of your regular diet. You hardly can spend any day underwear free. Even if you hate wearing it, you put on at least your panties. Unfortunately, some people don’t realise that they must drink water either they like it or not.
Despite you might think that we need to drink exclusively water it is not completely true. Other drinks like herbal teas, juices, soups, smoothies, cocoa, teas, and coffee count as well. The same thing is actually with underwear: you may be a fan of sexy lace briefs or a comfy sport bras, the most important is that you wear it all day long and don’t forget your panties. Water is that kind of «basic» underwear because it suits any fashion style and every life situation. It is clean, calories and sugar free, neutral, high quality «underwear» you always have in your wardrobe. If you prefer something more special, add some berries, lemon juice, cinnamon to your water to personalise it to your taste. Herbal teas with a slice of lemon, grated ginger, sweat cinnamon or other spice of your choice are perfect in winter. Hot cocoa drinks are natural serotonin enhancers. According to some research the level of serotonin drops down in winter time which is associated with weight gain and low mood in cold time of the year. In comparison with water cocoa or hot chocolate are those fancy corset for special occasions. And what about fizzy drinks? Let’s compare it to chip G-strings.
